The Asia Pacific Journal of Pain (APJP), established in 1991, is the official peer-reviewed publication of the Taiwan Pain Society. Initially launched as The Chinese Journal of Pain, it was renamed The Taiwan Journal of Pain in 2016. In 2021, the journal broadened its focus to engage the international scientific community, began publishing exclusively in English, and adopted its current name to attract a global audience. APJP publishes open-access, peer-reviewed articles on a biannual basis.
APJP is the premier open access journal in the field of pain and its related disciplines of pain in Asia. The journal aims to disseminate pain research and knowledge for people all over the world, especially in Asian Pacific region.
APJP caters to clinicians of all relevant specialties and biomedical scientists working in the areas of pain research and management, as well as other related fields (pharmacology, pathology molecular biology, etc). APJP's editorial team is composed of regional experts in the field as well as many leading international expert
Article types accepted include review articles, research papers, brief communication, correspondence and images.
